Cinda Firestone was a mere 23 years old when, in 1974, she created the landmark documentary film, Attica. Following Attica Cinda Firestone made three more documentaries, South Beach, Retirement and Mountain People on the different ways people retire or choose not to.

Cinda’s involvement in Children's Theater led to the writing of three original musicals with music by her son, William Fox, one of which, Questionable Quest, played successfully at the Beacon Theater in New York City.

Cinda is also the author of numerous screenplays including: Madame, the Story of Madam C.J. Walker, Te Quiero, a romantic murder mystery set in Puerto Rico and Fox Hunt, a romantic comedy.
